Among other things, the sisters support the Han San Chon project (retirement home). Their tasks include and have included: domestic welfare programs for the poor, hospice services, support and awarding scholarships to needy young people and immigrants. The donations benefit the charitable work of the sisterhood and also contribute to their own, very small pension scheme. Since 1986, we have supported the work of the Diakonia Sisterhood with the proceeds from the annual Shinson Hapkido year-end celebration in Darmstadt.
